Preseason Week 3 NFL picks for Bengals vs. Dolphins
Before you tune in to Sunday's Dolphins vs. Bengals game, you need to see the NFL picks from R.J. White. White, a Fantasy and gambling editor for CBS Sports and SportsLine, ended the 2020 season on an 80-59 run on all NFL picks, returning more than $1,400 during that span.
It's no surprise, as White has cashed huge twice in the world's most prestigious football handicapping competition, the Las Vegas SuperContest. White is also on a 34-21 run on his picks involving Cincinnati, returning almost $1,100 on those selections. Anyone who has followed him is way up.
For Bengals vs. Dolphins, White is backing the Dolphins (+1.5) to cover the spread. The Dolphins have already announced that they'll rest starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and other key starters for Sunday's preseason finale, but Jacoby Brissett has also been incredibly effective running Miami's offense, while third-stringer Reid Sinnett has been steady in limited action as well.
Brissett is 14-for-18 this preseason for 166 yards and two touchdowns, while Sinnett is 8-of-12 for 58 yards and a score. All three Dolphins quarterbacks are firmly entrenched in their respective roles and after putting up 422 yards of total offense last week, the unit should have some confidence.
The defense should also be firing on all cylinders against a Bengals offense that only managed 213 total yards a week ago. Even with Burrow in the lineup and Miami resting several starters, head coach Brian Flores will be looking to apply plenty of pressure a week after sacking the Falcons four times in just 19 drop-backs.
